A man living in Jacksonville, Florida, demonstrated incredible skill when he captured an alligator that was wandering down the street. The unusual event left spectators who witnessed the extraordinary feat speechless.
The incident took place in Jacksonville, a region known for being home to a large population of crocodiles and alligators. Reptiles are often seen in swimming pools, sewers and even in the gardens of local homes.
When the man, later identified as military veteran and fighter Mike Dragich, saw the imposing alligator in the middle of the street, he did not hesitate to act bravely. With boldness and determination, he approached the reptile and managed to grab it, sitting on top of it to immobilize it and close its mouth.
Amazement gripped those present, including the police officers and neighbors who witnessed Dragich’s incredible act. This local hero, 34 years old, is known for his skills in hunting alligators, having the corresponding license to carry out these activities.
According to Dragich on his social networks, he was enjoying a hockey game when he received the emergency call from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office requesting his help. Without hesitation, he left the sporting event, caught the alligator and quickly returned to the game, all in a matter of minutes.
This is not Dragich’s first confrontation with a large alligator. The previous month, he managed to capture another reptile almost three meters long, which has led local authorities to resort to him in emergency situations related to these animals.
