A historic first that Inter Miami wants to celebrate as it should. Friday November 10, on the occasion of a friendly match against New York City FC, Léo Messi’s club is organizing a “Noche d’Or”, to celebrate its striker’s eighth Ballon d’Or, the first for a player in the history of the club.

The Florida State club promises “a night full of festivities” in its stadium, the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, and an “after” organized by the company “Bresh”, which specializes in organizing parties. The party will begin at 6 p.m. local time, two hours before the match kicks off. A fireworks display is notably planned.

Club subscribers have priority to purchase tickets for this meeting, on sale from this Friday morning. The general public will have access to it a few hours later, from 2 p.m. local time. The match will be visible in more than 100 countries via Apple TV, MLS rights holders.

A presentation at the Parc des Princes in 2021

Messi is expected to address fans in the stadium, as are club owner and president Jorge Mas, as well as Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber. Last mid-July, its official presentation was a success, despite the bad weather, in front of 20,000 excited fans. “I have no doubt that we are going to have a lot of fun, that we are going to have a good time and that some great things are going to happen,” he said, receiving a standing ovation in return.

In 2021, after winning a seventh Ballon d’Or, Lionel Messi was celebrated at the Parc des Princes, a few months after his arrival at the capital club. La Pulga was treated to fireworks fifteen minutes before the kick-off of a Ligue 1 match against OGC Nice. The Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma, named best goalkeeper, was also honored. The match ended in an anecdotal 0-0.
