December 6 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of drug control units of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. In connection with the memorable date, the police of the Tver region summed up the results of the last five years of work.
During this time, five thousand drug-related crimes were registered, as well as six thousand administrative violations related to illegal substances. As a result, more than seven thousand people were brought to criminal and administrative responsibility.
– The activity of 15 drug laboratories for the production of synthetic drugs was suppressed. More than 318 kg of prohibited psychoactive substances have been withdrawn from the illegal turnover, the press service of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Tver region reports.
