Former Olympiakos player Yanis Tima has died

Giannis Tima, who moved from Olympiakos in the 2018/19 season, found himself – according to the Russian website, news.ru – dead outside his apartment in Moscow. He was only 32 years old. Janis Tima was born in July 1992 in Kraslava, Latvia. It was 2.01 meters high. He started his career in Riga and also played for Liepajas, Ventspils, Zenit, Baskonia, Olympiakos, Khimki, Unix Kazan, Lakeland Magic, Grises de Humacao, Darussafaka and – last season – Obradeiro. He was selected No. 60 in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies.
