Karachi: Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah will not even come close to the excellence of Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi, former Pakistan player Abdul Razzaq. Speaking to a local channel in Pakistan, Abdul Razzaq compared Bumrea and Afridi. Razzaq said that Bumrak does not have the ability to come even to Shaheen Afridi’s seven-yarder and also clarified that Pakistan pacers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf are good bowlers like Shaheen. Razaq is an actor who has made news with such controversial statements before.
In 2019, Razaq had described Bumrah as a ‘baby bowler’. Razaq had also said earlier that he would have beaten Bumrah if he had been playing. In an interview given to Cricket Pakistan, Razaq said that Bumrah was just a child for him who had faced greats like Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram and if Bumrah had bowled in his time he would have been beaten.

Meanwhile, Bumrah, who suffered a back injury during the Asia Cup, is trying to make a comeback in the Indian team. Bumrah is expected to return to the squad for the final two matches of the Test series against Australia next month. Bumrah, who was ruled out of the Indian team in July last year due to a groin injury during the Test series against England, returned to the team for the T20I series against Australia before the Asia Cup, but was ruled out of the team due to another injury. Shaheen Afridi, on the other hand, was undergoing treatment for a long time after suffering a knee injury during the World Cup.
