The World Health Organization announced the death of four people and the injury of 17 others in a Zionist bombing of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza Strip.
Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on the X platform that a team from the World Health Organization witnessed the raid at the hospital during a mission to assess needs and collect incubators to send to northern Gaza.
He wrote in a post, “A team from the World Health Organization was on a humanitarian mission at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Gaza when a camp inside the hospital complex was subjected to an “Israeli” air strike. Four people were martyred and 17 others were injured,” explaining that the organization’s employees are fine.
According to the World Health Organization, there are only 10 hospitals left in the Palestinian sector operating “at a minimum,” compared to 36 before the start of the war.
