FQChart – the Democratic Party is the first party by one decimal. Will the rejection of the Zan bill strengthen it?

by time news

FQChart is the weekly arithmetic average of the polls on the voting intentions of Italians exclusively for Il Fatto Quotidiano. All the polls published by the major polling institutions in the week just ended contribute to the average.

Week from 25/10 to 31/10/2021

The Democratic party manages this week to reach the top of our chart, paired with Brothers of Italy. The Dems are ahead of just 0.1% (20.1% vs 20%), the significant difference between the two parties is in the trend: positive for the Democratic Party, negative for FdI (which in fact is experiencing a moment of stall due to post administrative elections). A trend that could be confirmed or reversed as early as next week, depending on how the center-left voters will position themselves as a result of the rejection of the ddl Zan. Will the Democratic Party be strengthened or will it be held responsible for a failure to mediate?

In third and fourth position we find two former “first Italian parties” capable of both exceeding the 30% quota and then falling abruptly: the League, rather stable with 18.8%, and the M5s, surprisingly rising from 0.3 to 16.2%.

Floats around 7% Come on Italy, while marching fast Action to 3.8% (+0.3, but over 4% for three out of five surveys) and the eventual SI + Art.1 cartel regains almost one point at 4.1%. Who loses half a point compared to last week is instead ItaliaViva, down to 2.1%.
