On a day of tribute, Francisco Pinto Balsemão was, for a few minutes, one of the members of the Band of the Sociedade Recreativa e Musical de Carcavelos, which received the founder of the Impresa in the Espaço Memórias of the Teatro Experimental de Cascais.
Francisco Pinto Balsemão was honored by the Teatro Experimental de Cascais. Recognition was one of the wishes of one of the company’s founders, director Carlos Avilez, who passed away in November last year.
“I really like being one of the people who contributes to the activity, doing new things and moving forward”, Balsemão told SIC.

One of Carlos Avilez’s wishes was fulfilled, a mutual admiration between the director and founder of TEC and Francisco Pinto Balsemão.
“They are men of culture who shared this need for freedom and to try new things”, said Fernando Alvarez.
An opportunity to inaugurate, in Cascais, the exhibition “Expresso 50 anos”, by the hands of the founder.
