“MaPrimeRénov’ is a great scam”, believes Louise, who speaks in less than complimentary terms of this financial boost from the State for owners who wish to carry out energy renovation work in their homes. According to her, not only the filing of the file “is an obstacle course where everything is done to dissuade you from continuing, by pointing out imaginary errors and asking you for endless supporting documents”but since the subsidy is “granted”, “we never see the color of money”. An unflattering speech for this system which nevertheless constitutes, with no less than 8.6 billion euros in subsidies paid since the launch of MaPrimeRénov’, “the main tool for energy renovation”according to the report from the Court of Auditors unveiled at the beginning of the week.
