Jeddah: OIC Secretary General Hussein Ibrahim Twaha has said he will fully support and support the Palestinian people’s struggle for sovereignty. He was speaking at the inaugural session of the OIC’s permanent delegation to Jeddah’s headquarters in Jeddah to discuss Israeli attacks on the Al – Aqsa Mosque.
The OIC has rejected and condemned the Israeli occupation attempt to impose a temporary and spatial partition of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Letters have been sent to several international leaders and organizations in this regard. The Secretary-General also called on organizations and the international community to take immediate action to end the offensive against the holy sites.
The city of Quds and its shrines must be protected. Israel must face plans to Judaize. At the same time, there must be more political, economic and media efforts to protect the rights of Palestinians. The Palestinian people must be given the support and assistance they need. Political and legal action must be taken against Israel. For this, it is necessary to communicate with international institutions.
Hussein Ibrahim Twaha called on all international groups to take responsibility for ending the Israeli occupation and for establishing an independent Palestine in accordance with UN resolutions and Arab peace initiatives.
