Chennai: A complaint has been lodged with the Commissioner of Police on behalf of the Revolutionary Tamil Nadu against EVKS Ilangovan for making defamatory remarks about Ilayaraja.
Airport Murthy, the founding president of the Revolutionary Tamil Nadu organization, lodged a complaint against former Tamil Nadu Congress leader EVKS Ilangovan at the Chennai Police Commissioner’s Office yesterday. He later told reporters, “It is reprehensible that many people are criticizing Ilayaraja, saying that the composer Ilayaraja has compared Prime Minister Modi to Ambedkar.
In this context, the former leader of the Tamil Nadu Congress EVKS Ilangovan has made a defamatory comment about Ilayaraja. Therefore, he should be prosecuted and arrested under the Prevention of Torture Act. ”
