Gabon to borrow 30 billion francs from Badea

DIG/ The Council of Ministers of May 17, 2023 approved the bill authorizing the Gabonese State to contract a loan of an amount equivalent to 50 million US dollars (30 billion francs) from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA).

This envelope will be used to finance a budget support program for the State budget and will be allocated to the health sector and the development of infrastructure in order to support the efforts of the State in the implementation of the Acceleration and Transformation Plan (PAT).
