Turkey will ban the sale of “marketing” fuels at gas stations starting April 30. This was reported by the local TV channel Ahaber, Day.Az reports with reference to Lenta.ru.

We are talking about improved grades of gasoline with such prefixes as ultra force, power, fuelsave, VMax, VPro, which were sold at inflated prices. Gas stations advertise such fuel as being of higher quality and contributing to better engine performance, as well as economical consumption.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) of Turkey made this decision to unify gasoline prices. Now at the country’s gas stations it will be possible to buy only AI-92, AI-95 gasoline, diesel fuel and gas. EPDK noted that all types of fuel sold in Turkey meet quality standards, and there are no differences between regular gasoline and its “improved” grades.
