International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate progress and recognize remaining challenges.
We have come a long way in recognizing women’s rights in the workplace.
More and more women are breaking barriers and assuming leadership roles.
But women continue to face inequalities, discrimination and stereotypes that hold them back.
They often shoulder the majority of care responsibilities, which limits their opportunities.
Women represent less than half of the global workforce.
They often work in low-quality jobs in vulnerable conditions.
And gender violence and harassment are all too common at work.
This is simply unacceptable.
Gender equality concerns us all.
Without it, there is no social justice.
On this International Women’s Day, let us continue to unite in solidarity, defending gender equality and building a better future for all.
