Genesis launches the GENESIS Electrified GV70 in Israel and takes another step towards realizing the vision that Genesis has set for itself in Israel to become the leading luxury brand in electric drive technology, within which by 2025 it will introduce 8 new models, electrically driven or hydrogen technology. By 2030, all Genesis models will have 0 pollutant emissions.
Electrified GV70 is based on the GV70 and incorporates a drive system with a pair of electric motors and a total power of 489 hp and a maximum driving range of 455 km.
The passenger cabin of the Genesis Electrified GV70 is designed according to the concept of Koranic architecture known as the “white space”. This concept implements a clean and elegant look, when the designers combined in the passenger compartment oval elements inspired by airplane wings and an ergonomic design that focuses on the comfort of the driver’s operation while reducing the number of switches.
The air conditioning vents are thin and masked by the contour of the upper border of the instrument panel. As with all Genesis, the Electrified GV70 emphasizes the combination of high quality materials and leather finishes that create a luxurious feeling of a business lounge.
The digital dashboard has a 12.3 inch screen with a 3D display and variable information display, which is joined by a 14.5 inch screen in a wide structure that is used by the multimedia system and the operation of the various vehicle systems. The operating interface on the multimedia screen is made by touch or by an intuitive joystick and is designed in the console between the driver and the passenger, which incorporates a touch pad.

The Genesis Electrified GV70 is powered by two electric motors, one for each wheel axle, with a standard power of 160 kW each and a combined power of 320 kW in total. An electric motor unit is integrated in a transfer box that includes a direct gear and a reduction relay.
At the driver’s disposal is the Boost mode for acceleration, which provides an additional 40 kilowatts of power from the engines for 10 seconds. In this mode, the electrified GV70 has 489 hp and 71.4 kg which are immediately available and allow acceleration to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

Genesis’ three-phase charging system Electrified GV70 Supports direct home charging (AC) with a capacity of up to 11Kw. In addition, charging support is embedded in the car DC Ultra fast high voltage of 400Vwhen a charger with a voltage booster is able to double the charge to charge at a voltage of 800V. The system, which is an exclusive development of Genesis, is designed to give the driver a vocal experience while driving, even though it is an electric vehicle, when it provides virtual driving sounds that are played through the car’s audio system, depending on the driving mode, the speed of the vehicle and the position of the accelerator pedal.
The driver can choose between three types of active sounds: Futuristic for a futuristic feel, G-Engine which simulates a muted sporty sound and E-Motor For a full sporty sound experience.
The Genesis safety concept is also applied to the Electrified GV70, combining maximum passive protection for the driver and passengers, combined with a comprehensive package of the most advanced active safety systems based on radar and cameras to prevent accidents, while providing assistance to the driver and a semi-autonomous driving mode. Genesis Electrified GV70 is equipped as standard with the following systems:
FCA – Collision warning combined with autonomous braking in emergency situations including identification of pedestrians and cyclists. The system has a function capable of braking while detecting cross traffic within intersections.
LKA – An active lane keeping system integrated with a system LFAwhich keeps the vehicle in the center of the travel lane, while following the marking lines and the vehicle traveling ahead.
