The Girls Academy (GA) Winter Showcase and Champions Cup, held in Norco, California from December 4-9, 2025, proved to be a pivotal event for collegiate recruitment, offering coaches one of their first extensive looks at top talent as the conclusion of the NCAA season.Wiht the exception of the four teams competing in the College Cup, programs from across the country were in attendance, scouting players from the league’s best teams. Class of 2029: Future Foundations
Emma Sugalski | Midfielder / defender, San Antonio City SC 2011 (TX)
Sugalski was a dominant force at the GA Winter Showcase, spearheading San Antonio City SC 2011’s strong performance. Lindsey Hammes | Forward / Midfielder, North Shore United 2010 (WI)
A participant in the GA midwest Talent ID event, Hammes delivered an outstanding showcase, exemplifying her all-around impact for North Shore United. She excelled defensively, consistently winning individual battles and immediately transitioning those wins into hazardous counterattacks that fueled NSU’s offense.

Reed’s exceptional performance in the GA Champions Cup Playoffs,including a game-winning goal in the quarterfinal play,securing Florida United’s place in the Champions Cup Finals. [HIGHLIGHTS]
Mya Schroeder | Forward / Midfielder, North Shore United 2010 (WI)
Schroeder impressed at the GA Winter Showcase, demonstrating why she is a dynamic attacking threat. She scored in all three of North Shore United’s games, consistently creating scoring opportunities with her power, finesse, and intelligent movement.
Peyton Johnston | Midfielder, Blues FC 2010 (CA)
Johnston made a strong impression with her two-way play in midfield.She consistently won challenges, read the game effectively, and disrupted opposing attacks. Her ability to both defend and drive play forward made her a standout performer.
Liv Owens | Goalkeeper, Kansas Rush 2008/2007 (KS)
Owens, a 5’10” goalkeeper playing up two years with the Kansas Rush U19 team, excelled with 2 clean sheets and a 2-0-1 record, leading her team to first place in their pool. She garnered attention from multiple NCAA Division I coaches, including programs from Power Four conferences, with her aerial dominance and distribution skills.

Fiona Treadway | Midfielder, SC del sol
Treadway played a vital role in SC del Sol’s potent attack, which amassed 12 goals across three straight wins. She contributed 4 goals and an assist,creating space and opportunities for her teammates.
Karl | Midfielder, Utah Celtic 07/08
A BYU commit, Karl demonstrated a significant two-way presence, excelling both defensively and offensively.Her athleticism and strength allowed her to win battles in the air and on the ground, while also contributing with overlapping runs, assists, and long-range shots, helping Utah Celtic qualify for the GA Champions Cup Finals.
Lia Lopez | Midfielder, Atlético Dallas Youth 2009 (TX)
Lopez sparked the Atlético Dallas offense during their successful GA Winter showcase, scoring in each of their opening victories and showcasing her long-range shooting ability and strong possession play.
