King Charles Faces Call to Investigate Epstein Network as Victim’s Brother Seeks Meeting
A plea for further investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal reached the British monarchy on Monday, as the brother of Virginia Giuffre, a prominent victim of the late financier, publicly requested a meeting with King Charles III. The request centers on the hope that the King’s influence can unlock further information surrounding individuals connected to Epstein.
The brother, identified as Skye Roberts, stated in a CNN interview on October 31, “I think it’s important to listen to the survivors themselves, not the perpetrators. If the King wanted me to come see him, I would go to London tomorrow.” Roberts’ statement underscores a growing frustration with the pace and scope of investigations into Epstein’s extensive network.
This call for action comes amidst a period of significant upheaval within the British royal family. King Charles recently made the unprecedented decision to remove his brother, Prince Andrew, from royal duties, a move directly linked to the renewed scrutiny of Andrew’s association with Epstein. Public outrage over the Prince’s relationship with the convicted sex offender has intensified in recent weeks, prompting the King’s decisive action.
Roberts further commented that the King has “showed a certain level of recognition and said he would stand by the victims,” a sentiment he contrasted favorably with the response from U.S. authorities. “We should be grateful for that, but I think we also need to demand action. I want them to go even further into the investigation and respond quickly,” he added.
The British royal family has not yet issued a statement regarding the potential meeting with Giuffre’s family, maintaining a position of no comment. This silence, however, does little to quell the growing demand for transparency and accountability in the wake of the Epstein scandal.
