Nicole Hirin and Lina Glushko, the two finalists in the singles final of the 2021 Israel Championship, won today (Monday) the women’s doubles tournament of the championship, when they defeated Nicole Nadel and Adva and Debach 2: 6 and 3: 6. As you may recall, the final game was postponed due to the rainy weather last week. Hirin, who won the title after a 1-2 win over Glushko in the final, actually completed a double, and her best performance in a competition so far in her career.
In the semi-final meetings that took place earlier, Glushko and Hirin defeated Mika Buchnik and Maya Tahan 2: 6, 2: 6, and at the same time Nadel and Dabach defeated Ofer Koiti and Tamar Yaffe 2: 6 and 3: 6. In the men’s final, Ron Alok and Uriel Kimhi, the two finalists from the Israeli Youth Championship this year, won, after beating Yanai Barkai and Jordan Hasson 4: 6 and 6: 7.
