The visiting team’s bad streak, incredibly, continued in the second half. At 64′, Elan Ricardo, taking advantage of a great cross from Andrés Correa, headed in to make the score 4-0. Minutes later, Sebastián Arango, who entered after the expulsion of Rogerio Caicedo, injured his shoulder after a crash. Boyacá Chicó did not have any other goalkeepers on the bench, so Sebastián Támara, an offensive midfielder, had to put on his gloves and cover the goalkeeper position.
Possession continued to be the capital’s in the final minutes. Johan Rojas, closing a great match, tried to extend the lead with dribbles in the visiting field, but the wear and tear of both teams was evident.
