In Tamil Nadu on Saturday, 22 carat jewelery gold was priced at Rs 4,892 per gram; Sawaran was sold for 39 thousand 136 rupees. 1 gram of silver was sold at Rs 67.50.
Sunday is a holiday for the gold market. On that day, gold and silver were sold at the previous day’s prices.
Yesterday, gold prices rose by Rs 9 to trade at Rs 4,901 per gram. Sawaran rose by Rs 72 to Rs 39,208. Silver rose by 20 paise to trade at Rs 67.70 per gram.
