The price of jewelry gold has risen today. Gold rose by 10 rupees a gram and saran by 80 rupees.
In Chennai, 22 carat jewelery gold was trading at Rs 4,760 per gram and razor at Rs 38,080 per gram till yesterday. As of this morning, the price of jewelery gold in Chennai has declined by Rs 10 to Rs 4,770 per gram and Rs. 80 and sells for Rs. 38,160.
Gold prices have been fluctuating between Rs 10 and Rs 30 per gram since May 30. It is best to invest in gold that can be converted into cash.
Gold prices remained unchanged as the US dollar did not appreciate against the dollar and the Indian rupee did not depreciate sharply over the past few days. If the price of crude oil rises further in the international market, the price of gold may change in the coming days.
The price of silver has also increased. Silver has risen by 30 cents per gram. A gram of silver sells for Rs. Silver sells for Rs 68,000 a kg. Silver has increased by Rs 1,000 per kilo.
