After the scandal launched by the “Los Angeles Times”, containing the accusations of discrimination and corruption to the association of the foreign press that hands out the annual awards, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced that the 79th edition of the Golden Globe Awards will take place on Sunday 9 January in a very reduced version from the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
