Processor Upgrades and Design Changes
The entire Pixel 11 smartphone lineup will feature the new Tensor G6 chipset, bringing incremental upgrades to processor performance alongside camera enhancements and a primary focus on new software features. Google may eliminate the 128GB storage tier to establish 256GB as the new base storage option, contributing to a starting price increase for the base model.
On the design front, the non-folding devices feature a glowing, rainbow-colored LED light inside the camera bar called “HiLight,” which replaces the traditional flash and temperature sensors on Pro models to display subtle light and color for important notifications when the phone is face down. Promotional material highlights the device as featuring comprehensive wellness tracking, while leaked specifications point toward a potential Loss of Pulse Detection feature.
