The American company “Google” has removed the cache link feature from the search engine’s results page, which is usually used to correct site errors and monitor competitors.
The company’s research officer, Danny Sullivan, stated, according to the technical website “theverge”, that the feature could be replaced in the future by adding links to a special “archive” of Google, as there are currently more flexible and modern ways to obtain the same benefits.
This decision harms many developers and SEO professionals, and also hinders news reporters from monitoring and gathering news from the search engine, in addition to the fact that the canceled feature was often used as a good alternative to VPNs.
