“My friends call me an embeddable predator.” This is how part of his crew defines (or at least that’s how he confesses) Gorka Ibarguren, the 28-year-old from Oiartzuarra who will be part of the 33-participant squad that will start the adventure of El Conquistador on TVE. The reality show that Julian Iantzi and Raquel Sánchez Silva will present continues to reel off the list of contestants and Gorka will be the fourth from Gipuzkoa to form part of that shortlist of participants in the landing of the format on Spanish Television.
Gorka Ibarguren, 29, becomes, for the moment, the fourth contestant from Gipuzkoa who will be starting in El Conquistador, along with Andrea Azkune from Honda, and Amaya Blanco and Euxebi Hidalgo from Tolosa. The contest will start its broadcast in the coming weeks.
Ibarguren will be an important competitor, a lover of many sports and a fan, due to his aita, of spearfishing or, as he explains in the presentation video, “underwater lung hunting.” Extroverted and “vacilón”, he declares himself a lover of bumping and also points out that he had a YouTube channel with spearfishing videos.

The oiatzuarra confesses that he likes “salsa and girls who hesitate”, and acknowledges that he has two objectives in the program. The first, the final prize of 100,000 euros for the winner and, later, “going out with a girlfriend too.” Therefore, two goals to achieve in this reality show of survival and extreme tests.
In fact, it seems that Gorka is more interested in being able to leave the contest with a partner than the final prize. «If I like a girl and it is possible… there is time to go behind some bushes…», he jokingly points out.
