1. Proceed in the direction indicated by the quest marker

If you get lost while adventuring through a vast field, check the quest marker displayed at the top of the screen. The place where the marker is located will be your destination, so just proceed in that direction.

On the other hand, if you want to explore every corner of the field, move in the direction of the marker after you finish exploring.

In certain scenes, Bee will also use light to show you the direction you should go.

2. How to change the operating character

The character you will be controlling will be the one set to the far left in the main menu organization. In the main story, you cannot remove the main character from your party, but you can change the character you control. Let’s advance the story by controlling your favorite character.

In addition, you can change the color by pressing the △ button on the composition screen to open the character details, and then pressing the △ button again. In the case of the main character, you can also switch between two different appearances: Gran and Gita, so you can change the settings to suit your mood.

3. Accept all side quests

You can accept side quests from the islanders in town. By helping them with their requests, you can earn various rewards such as materials needed to strengthen weapons and MSP to strengthen your character.

There is no limit to the number of side quests you can accept, and some can be cleared naturally just by progressing through the main story. If new side quests appear when you return to town, accept them all.

A mark is displayed on islanders who can accept side quests. Find the client by referring to the icon displayed at the top of the screen.

4. If you get stuck in the main story, collect training materials through quests

Experience points, rupies, MSP (mastery points) needed to strengthen characters and weapons, and various material items can also be obtained from quests that can be ordered from the quest counter.

If you can’t defeat the strong enemies you face in the main story, play quests to collect the materials needed for reinforcement and increase the strength of your party members.

5. Register the desired item as treasure

Various material items are required to increase the upper limit of weapons and strengthen genes. When you don’t have enough items to use as materials, you can use the “Treasure Registration” function.

If you register treasure, an icon will be displayed when you exchange it at a quest or a shop where you can obtain that item, and when ordering a quest, you can use “Search by Treasure” to search only quests where treasure can be obtained. You can also narrow it down.

6. Exploration can be postponed until later

The fields visited in the main story have many exploration elements, such as treasure chests where you can obtain various items, and “archives” where you can obtain notes and messages.

It’s good to explore the field thoroughly as you progress through the story, but you can freely explore the field after clearing the main story, so it’s okay to postpone detailed exploration until later.

In particular, it is difficult to annihilate the enemies that appear if the “Magic Seal Stone” is not sufficiently strengthened. First, clear the main story once, strengthen your party, and then try again.

7. Release characters in any order you like!

“Character release tickets” can be obtained by progressing through the main story or by clearing certain quests. Once you get this ticket, you can recruit new characters at Yorozuya Shero.

By progressing through the game, you can eventually unlock all characters. Release characters in the order you like, whether you choose based on appearance or performance.

8. Training on the Grand Cipher Deck

If you advance the main story up to Chapter 4 or go to Grand Cipher while online, you can investigate Tokkun on the deck of Grand Cipher and play a “trial battle.”

Trial Battle is a training content where you can check the actions of each character. Check the performance of your combos and abilities here, and prepare for battle with powerful enemies.

In the trial battle, you can also play “High Score” where you can test how much damage you can do within the time limit, and “Time Attack” where you challenge yourself to defeat Tokkun in different difficulty levels in how many seconds.

It’s a great element for investigating how to use combos and abilities to deal damage more efficiently, so if you want to get into it to the fullest, please take advantage of it.

9. Limit character development to 4 people

It’s good to train your fellow characters evenly, but if you want to progress through the main story smoothly, it’s better to choose four people to form a party and focus on strengthening those four.

In particular, the MSP needed to strengthen characters, and the items needed to strengthen weapons and break through the upper limit, are required in large quantities and tend to be in short supply.

MSP can also be earned when each character levels up, but they are treated as common points for all characters, not for each character.

10. Increase your status with fate episodes

In Fate Episodes, which can be played from the quest counter, you can view special episodes for each character.

What I would like to note is that by checking the episode, the character’s status will increase. Fate episodes will be released depending on your progress in the game and your character’s level, so be sure to check the quest counter frequently to see if there are any Fate Episodes available for viewing.

11. Obtain Dahlia Chapter in Shuffle Quest

As you progress through the game, you will be able to accept “Shuffle Quests” from the quest counter. Shuffle Quests allow you to randomly participate in quests that can be accepted at that time, and when you clear them, you can earn Dahlia Chapters that can be exchanged for various items at the shop.

On the Shuffle Quest order screen, you can receive a “Dahlia Gold Prize Coupon” that will give you a bonus reward when you challenge Shuffle Quest in multiplayer.

You can get one complimentary ticket as a login reward every day at midnight, and one ticket every three times you play Shuffle Quest. You can only pick it up at the quest counter, so be sure to pick it up every day.

12. Register frequently used equipment sets

By pressing the create button on the equipment screen, you can register a combination of weapons, genes, and abilities to an equipment set.

When fighting a troublesome enemy that inflicts abnormal status effects, use a gene with “XX resistance”, and when aiming to clear the game by pushing hard with firepower, use a gene specializing in attack power, and so on. is recommended.

You don’t need to worry about it in the early stages, but as the number of types of weapons and genes increases, it’s a good idea to create and register various sets.

Up to 15 equipment sets can be registered for each character.

13. Get rewards by acquiring titles

You can check the titles you earned during the game from Luria Note on the main menu. You can view a list of titles by category, and also check the conditions for titles that you have not yet acquired.

On this screen, you can also receive rewards for acquiring titles. You can get the Book of Raziel, which allows you to earn experience points, and the Crystals of Martial Arts, which can be used to strengthen weapons, so don’t forget to receive your rewards once you have earned a title.

14. Arrange stamps and fixed phrases in your own way

In the player settings on the main menu, you can check information about online play, edit your profile, and configure communication settings.

In the communication settings, you can edit and rearrange the stamps, fixed phrases, and emotes you use. It is also possible to set automatic fixed phrases that are automatically uttered at specific times, such as when joining a party or leaving on a quest.

It is recommended to set frequently used stamps and fixed phrases as shortcuts. There are also many stamps that are familiar from the original version of “Granblue Fantasy”, so arrange them in your own way and enjoy communicating when playing online.

15. Items you want to set as options

By selecting System → Options from the main menu, you can change graphics, audio, and gameplay settings.

In the gameplay settings, in addition to setting basic operations such as camera movement and sensitivity, you can also change the behavior of your companion’s AI, the conditions for activating special techniques, and turning assist mode on/off. We recommend setting the following items here.

  • automatic dash
Setting whether to automatically dash after moving for a certain period of time. Comfortable when turned on. In addition, automatic dash is enabled in assist mode regardless of the setting.
  • Settings for companions to participate in the mystery chain when preserving their secret skills
If you turn it on, your allies will join the secret skill chain even when you are giving instructions to save the secret skill. If you want to actively aim for full chain, set it to on.
  • Boss priority setting for activating allies’ secret techniques
When commanding secret techniques to allies is set to auto, “boss priority” allows you to use secret techniques only when there is a boss. “Activate on non-bosses” allows you to activate the secret technique on small enemies as well. It’s a bit of a waste to use secret techniques on small enemies, so it’s better to set it to “boss priority”.
  • Setting conditions for ally’s secret technique activation
When the special technique instruction to allies is set to auto, if “Full Chain Priority” is selected, the special technique will only be activated if the companion can make a full chain. In the case of “immediate”, it will be activated when the mystery gauge reaches maximum. Basically, it is best to set it to “Full Chain Priority”, but if you want to increase the rotation rate because there is a difference in how much the mystery gauge is filled, you can also set it to “Immediate”.
  • Quest production autoskip
Setting whether to automatically skip the effects seen at the start/end of a quest. It is useful to turn this on when trying to take on the same quest over and over again.
