As part of the 4th day of the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations (CAN) Morocco 2025, Guinea received Ethiopia at the Alhassane Ouattara stadium in Abidjan on Tuesday evening, October 15, 2025.
At the end of the 90 minutes of play, Guinea won with a score of 3 goals to 0. Serhou Guirassy opened the scoring for Guinea in the 16th minute. Abdoulaye Touré scored the second goal in the 19th minute. Serhou Guirassy scored twice in the 23rd minute.
With this victory, Guinea relaunches itself in group H. With 6 points, Guinea’s national Syli occupies second place behind the Democratic Republic of Congo who has 12 points. Tanzania is third with 4 points and Ethiopia is last with 1 point.
On November 11, Guinea will host the Democratic Republic of Congo on the fifth day before the qualifiers close in Tanzania on November 15, 2024.
