A man has been airlifted to hospital after being seriously injured after falling from a mountain in Oman’s Ibri province.

Muscat: One person was seriously injured after falling from a mountain in Oman. The Royal Oman Police have rescued a man who fell from a mountain in the Masem area of Ibri province. The rescue operation was carried out by the police in a helicopter. The Royal Oman Police said that the seriously injured man was taken to the Ibri Reference Hospital under the Ministry of Health of Oman.
Two expatriates arrested for trying to smuggle drugs into Oman
Muscat: Police have arrested two expatriates who were trying to smuggle drugs into Oman. The bomber struck shortly after noon in a boat off the coast of southern Batina Governorate. The Royal Oman Police said the two men were illegal immigrants.
The Royal Oman Police said in a statement that they were caught trying to enter the country illegally by sea. Police seized 60 kilograms of crystal drugs from the boat in which they were traveling. The Royal Oman Police said in a statement that legal action had been taken against those arrested.
