In recent episodes of the show, Harry and Meghan accused King Charles of lying during the couple’s talks with the royal family as part of their departure process. Prince Harry claimed that his brother William screamed and yelled at him when he found out that the couple wanted to leave their positions in the royal household, and that a statement was published on his behalf without his permission.

Until now, Spencer, the uncle of the brothers Princes Harry and William, was silent and did not address the claims, but the photo he shared today on Instagram put an end to his complete silence regarding the conflicts in the British royal family, even though it did not say anything clear and unequivocal.

The picture shows King Charles I, who was executed in 1649 after losing the Civil War. Next to the photo shared by Harry’s uncle William, a text about the English King Charles I was written.

Next to the photo that Spencer shared it said: “The portrait of Charles I, hanging in the picture gallery at[email protected] – The king visited the house in the 1630s, as an honored guest – at one banquet he was recorded celebrating alongside herons, peacocks and even a humble potato (which was new in England at the time).”
