Aras Ozbilizi, who nominated himself for the position of the president of the Football Federation of Armenia, has stated several times that he will do everything to return Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the national team.
Aysor.am inquired from Ozbiliz whether there is an agreement with Mkhitaryan in this regard, has this issue been discussed?
“It is not about making some agreements. Henrikh is a football player of such a level that he decides where to play. I am in constant contact with him and I am grateful to my friend who is by my side, encourages and supports me. I have repeatedly said in recent interviews, and now I reaffirm that I will do everything within my power to ensure that football players like Henrikh Mkhitaryan play in the national team until the end of their careers. Of course, I will be very happy if Henrikh returns to the national team. He is a brilliant example and a proof for our youth that Armenian football can have world stars,” he said.
