This matchup marks the 15th all-time meeting between north Dakota and Creighton (2-1, 0-0 Big East), with the Blue Jays holding a commanding 11-3 advantage in the series.Creighton secured a decisive 96-61 victory in their last encounter on November 10, 2022, also at CHI Health Center Arena. North Dakota hasn’t defeated Creighton as December 1, 1975, and faces a significant challenge to break that losing streak.
Creighton enters the contest with a 2-1 record, having recently dominated Maryland Eastern Shore 84-45 on Friday. The Blue Jays boast a balanced offensive attack, featuring four players averaging over 10 points per game: Jasean Green (11.5 ppg), Nik Graves (11.3 ppg), and Blake Harper (11.0 ppg).

Marley Curtis has also been a key contributor, averaging 17.0 points over his last two games, including a 15-point performance against UC Riverside where he connected on 3-of-5 three-point attempts.
Perhaps most notably, North Dakota ranks seventh in the nation in steals per game (13.2), and is one of only six teams across the country to record 10 or more steals in every game played.
The Hawks have also demonstrated impressive depth, with five players reaching double-figure scoring in consecutive games.
