PESCARA. Tragedy in a house in via Aldo Moro, in the San Donato district, where a 66-year-old man, residing in Chieti, was found lifeless around 18.30. The man, who worked in Pescara and would be retiring in three months, was in the house of a tenant of the building.
According to the first checks, carried out on the spot by the carabinieri, he allegedly fell ill while he was climbing the stairs of the building to visit an acquaintance. He would then ask for help from a condominium, who would have let him into his apartment to give him water, but after a few minutes he collapsed.
118 was immediately alerted. When the rescuers arrived at the house, the man was already dead. Apparently, he didn’t have the documents with him. For this reason and to clarify the death, the carabinieri were warned, who tried to reconstruct what happened. Examination by the medical examiner carried out.
From what emerged, the 66-year-old had suffered from heart problems. In the evening, the body was transferred to the Santo Spirito morgue for further information.
