Kuwait City: Workers begin lunch in hot weather in Kuwait. The lunch break starts in June. Kuwaiti workers are required to take an afternoon break from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is advised not to work with workers in open spaces at this time. This was announced by the Kuwait Human Resources Authority.

Ahmed al-Mousa, director general of the Human Resources Authority, said that in Kuwait, lunch is compulsory in June, July and August. He said companies violating the law would be fined between 100 dinars and 200 dinars per adult. He added that the inspection would be intensified to find the culprits.
