Yambu: Heavy rain and thunder in different parts of Saudi Arabia. A child drowned in rain-induced waterlogging in Hail region. The child who got caught in the water in the swamp in the valley was pulled out as a result of the efforts of the civil defense, but by then he had lost his life. Civil Defense sources also informed that four persons who were trapped in the waterlogged vehicle in the Hefna valley were rescued. The health condition of all four is satisfactory.
It started raining in different parts of the country from Thursday. But only in some parts on a heavy scale. Along with the rain, there were also reports of hailstorms and gusty winds. Some areas of Makkah, Madinah, Al-Qasim, Hafar Al-Batwin and Rafah received moderate rainfall.
The Meteorological Center has repeatedly warned that there is a possibility of rain in different areas of Saudi Arabia till Monday. The road safety department has also warned that as the rain continues in Tabuk city, there is a possibility of water flow within 10 km of Hazam village area and the road users should be more careful. Civil Defense warned people living in low-lying areas, hillsides and along streams to be extra cautious.
