It is also to be noted that IRCTC has also issued a helicopter operations circular which has obtained permission from the Directorate of Civil Aviation for helicopter services. It has been announced that the helicopter operators will arrange safe travel and provide guidance to the devotees from the temple board and others.
Uttarakhand has signed a five-year MoU with the Civil Aviation Development Authority for booking pilgrims to the Kedarnath site. However, it has been informed that to pre-book these services, the devotees must first register with the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board and register through the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app or through the mobile number 91 8394833833 and then avail the helicopter service.
