Hero MotoCorp, the country’s largest two-wheeler maker, on Thursday said it intends to increase the price of its vehicles by up to Rs 2,000. Similarly, Volkswagen has announced a price hike.
The hero further said:
The price of all model vehicles will be increased up to Rs. 2,000 to offset the raw material cost burden. The price hike is said to come into effect from January 4 next year (2022).
Similarly, Volkswagen has announced that it will increase the prices of Polo, Vento and Tiguan cars by 2-5 per cent from January 1.
