Kochi: The High Court has told Kannur University how the screening committee evaluated the eligibility documents in the matter of appointment of Priya Varghese. The court also said that appointment of associate professor is not child’s play. The court expressed displeasure with the affidavit of the registrar. According to the affidavit of the university, Priya Varghese was appointed to the post of associate professor on the basis of sufficient qualifications. The university had asked that the petition of the second ranker challenging the appointment was immature and the petition should be dismissed.
