Honor ‘Win’ Series Confirmed: New Flagship Line to Target Mobile Gaming Market

Honor has officially announced its new “Win” series of smartphones, signaling a strategic shift towards the competitive mobile gaming and e-sports arena. The company will unveil the full details of the lineup at a product communication event on December 16, 2025, effectively replacing the recently launched Honor GT family.

According to a company release, the Honor Win series is built around the slogan “Exceptional Strength, Born to Win,” underscoring the brand’s ambition to capture a significant share of the gaming smartphone market. The announcement was initially made through Honor’s official Weibo account, accompanied by a teaser image prominently displaying the word “WIN.”

The move represents a significant pivot for Honor, as the anticipated Honor GT 2 will now launch under the “Win” banner. This decision results in the temporary suspension of the GT line, which debuted in 2024. “This rebranding allows Honor to consolidate its efforts and focus on a dedicated gaming-centric series,” one analyst noted.

The Honor Win series will initially consist of at least two models: the Honor Win and the Honor Win Pro. Leaked renderings suggest both devices will feature a distinctive square-shaped camera module adorned with the “Win” logo. Both models will share a triple-camera setup on the rear. Color options for the standard Honor Win are expected to include Beige, Black, White, and Cyan.

The Honor Win Pro is anticipated to boast advanced features tailored for demanding gamers, including an integrated internal cooling system positioned near the upper camera lens. This design is intended to maintain optimal performance during extended gaming sessions.

Under the hood, the Honor Win will reportedly utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the Honor Win Pro will be powered by the more robust Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Both devices are expected to feature a high-resolution 1.5K OLED screen, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a substantial 8,500mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging – a standout specification in the current smartphone landscape.

The launch of the Honor Win series signifies a clear commitment from Honor to establish itself as a major player in the performance and gaming smartphone segment. Full specifications, pricing, and availability details will be revealed at the December 16th event.
