Mrs. Matilda Schwartz passed away in Bnei Brak, the widow of the late Rabbi Naftali Schwartz of Chasidi Chanz, the mother of Rabbi Mandel Schwartz, the deputy mayor of Beitar and the CEO of the Chanz institutions in the city. Baruch Dayan the truth: the important woman Mrs. Matil Rachel Matilda Schwartz passed away this morning in Bnei Brak, who for many years served as the spokeswoman for the Laniado Hospital, and she was 85 years old at the time of her death.
The late A.H. was born in Jerusalem, in the year of Keslu 1337, to her Hasidic father from the Bnei Aliya in the court of Zanz Rabbi Moshe Shemaya zt’l and to her mother Martha Sarah A.H.
Upon arriving in Perka, she married her husband Rabbi Naftali Zvi Schwartz zt’l, from Ravni Sanz who died in 1976 who previously served as Vineland’s doctor. In all the years she stood devotedly to the right of her husband.
For many years she worked at the Laniado Sanz Medical Center in Netanya where she worked in the public relations department and served as the hospital’s spokesperson for many years.
As mentioned, she served as the mythological spokeswoman for Laniado Hospital in Netanya, and in 2017, she retired after thirty-eight years of work at the hospital in which she had the privilege of taking part.
She left behind a blessed generation of righteous people, among her sons Rabbi Mendel Schwartz, the deputy mayor of Beitar, and the CEO of the Sanz Institutes in Beitar, her son Rabbi Shmuel of the ice cream shop on Rashi Street in Bov.
In the month of Nissan 555, her brother, Rabbi Yosal Shemaya zt’l, one of the Chassid Chassidim and a resident of Kiryat Sanz in Jerusalem, passed away.
