Judge Deborah Taylor has sentenced 54-year-old Boris Becker to 20 years in prison in a London court case.

Southwark Crown Court in London has found former world No. 1 Boris Becker guilty of four counts of bankruptcy – two counts of embezzlement, failing to disclose assets and concealing debt.
Becker was found to have transferred hundreds of thousands of pounds from his business account to other accounts, including the accounts of his ex-wife Barbara and estranged wife Charlie Becker. Becker, 54, was convicted of failing to declare a property in Germany and hiding த்தில் 825,000 in bank loan and technology.
Becker filed for bankruptcy in June 2017 in a London court. At the time, he owed Arputnat Latham & Co., a private banking company, an estimated £ 3.3 million to The Guardian.
He allegedly exceeded the repayment deadline in 2017 by more than two years, and asked the bank to delay filing a lawsuit against him for 28 days.
In the meantime he hoped to sell his property in Mallorca to repay a portion of the debt. However, the bank’s registrar reportedly denied the allegations.
He told Becker of his previous conviction for tax evasion in Germany: “You missed the opportunity you were given by the warning and the suspended sentence. It’s so bad. You sought to distance yourself. Although I accept the insult, you have no humility.
Prosecutor Rebecca Chockley said Becker “acted deliberately and dishonestly and still seeks to criticize others.”
