They seemed unable to imagine living in a world where there could be fewer cars. They talked a lot about “technologies” and “e-cars”, but when it came to the subject of the traffic turnaround, they blocked it. Driving has something to do with individual mobility and freedom, they argued. Aha, so it’s about freedom!
