The winner of the solo round-the-world trip in a giant trimaran will win a sum equivalent to that of their registration.
There are six of them who set off on Sunday from Brest in the first edition of the solo maxi-trimaran round the world trip. An unprecedented test which will not make the winner a rich sailor like Croesus. To register, the teams of each sailor paid 200,000 euros (excluding tax) to the organizer. Whoever crosses the finish line first will put a jackpot in their pocket… 200,000 euros, enough to reimburse their team’s registration fees, therefore. A reward identical to that of the winner of the Vendée Globe
