How to access Unemployment Insurance without settlement

To collect Unemployment Insurance in Chile without having a settlement, there are several alternatives regarding the documentation that can be presented to the Unemployment Fund Administrator (AFC). These documents serve to formalize the end of the employment relationship between the company and the worker. Below are the options:

Cards:

Letter of dismissal: Must be issued and signed by the employer.

Proof of dismissal letter: Officially issued by the Labor Directorate.

Resignation letter: Signed by the worker and ratified before a minister of faith.

Mutual agreement letter: Signed by both the worker and the employer and ratified before a minister of faith.

Self-undressing letter or indirect undressing: Signed by the worker.

Minutes:

Minutes of agreement: Signed by the employer and the worker, and authorized by a judge through an attached resolution.

Minutes of appearance or judicial conciliation: Also signed by both parties and authorized by a judge.

Contracts:

Employment contract of less than 30 days: For fixed-term employment relationships of up to 29 days, with the signatures of the worker and the employer.

Employment contract and salary settlement for port workers: For tasks subject to a specific task or service, also signed by both parties.

Other documents:

Certificate of termination of employment relationship: Issued by the Labor Inspection.

Electronic affidavit: Issued by the Labor Directorate, with the electronic signature of the worker and the Labor Inspector.

Communication of termination of employment relationship due to employer bankruptcy: Signed by the liquidator.

Conciliation before the Labor Directorate: Signed by the employer and the member, valid with a digital signature using the Unique State Code.

Court ruling: Signed by a judge, with its respective certificate of execution.

Labor demand: For unjustified, improper or unfair dismissal.

To carry out the procedure, the applicant must digitize the document in color and upload it in its entirety to the AFC virtual branch, using your Single Clef or AFC Clave. The formats supported for loading documents are PDF, JPG, JPEG or PNG.
