How to edit messages on iOS 16?

Apple is preparing to release a slew of new features for iPhone users with the iOS 16 operating system.

iPhone users will be able to edit their messages after sending them, they will also be able to unsend or delete a message.

Editing messages works for up to 15 minutes after the message is sent. Messages changed by users are marked as “edited.” Additionally, if a user edits a message using iOS 16, the changes will not be visible to users with older versions from iOS.

How to edit messages on iOS 16?

Head to the Messages app on your iPhone or iPad

Open the conversation containing a message that requires editing

Locate the message and long press on it

From the dropdown menu that appears, select Edit
