How to ‘pull’ the audience in ‘spin’? – Short Series Review

by time news

The ‘Spiral’ series is based on the Pushkar-Gayatri script of successful directors who have written screenplays in unique fields including ‘Oram Po’, ‘W Quarter Cutting’ and ‘Vikram Veda’.

A cement factory operating in Sambalur, Udagai, suddenly catches fire overnight. Harish Uthman (Trilok Watte), the son of the factory owner, suspects that Parthiban (Shanmugam) was the first person to witness the accident and due to animosity, he lodges a complaint with the police. Meanwhile, Parthiban, who was admitted to the hospital after being injured in the accident and returns home, learns that his daughter (Nila) is missing.

Later, Aishwarya Rajesh, Parthiban’s first daughter, arrives in Sambalur after learning that her sister had gone missing within hours of the arrest of Man Kadir (Chakra) Parthiban, the Assistant Inspector of Police for the accident investigation.

Meanwhile, the son of police inspector Shreya Reddy (Regina) is sending a note about his whereabouts saying he is going to Munnar with friends. At one point the son’s cell phone is turned off. What is the connection between the daughter of the missing Shanmugam and the son of Regina? Where were they? Who set fire to the cement plant? The screenplay moves with as many knots as possible.

Throughout the series, the directors’ involvement in the realistic depiction of the Mayan robbery at Angala Parameswari, one of the major festivals of Tamil Nadu, is evident. It is customary for Sami to make an image of a goddess lying down and dig up the bones of the bodies buried in the crematorium on the last day. The series also succeeds in setting up a screenplay that revolves around the ‘whirlwind’ in the qualities of human beings in the same town, with the focus on the Mayan robbery and the fact that no one can fully know about anyone. Throughout the series – until the end – the Mayan Robbery Festival continues.

Despite being a predictable story, they have succeeded in making different faces suspect who committed the murder and making a breakthrough by showing a character that is completely unrelated to it. In particular, the street performances of Purisai Thuraisamy Kannappath Thambiran Art Group have come in handy.

The length of each episode in the series and the scenes where Kadir falls in love with Aishwarya Rajesh may have been omitted.

After all, the goal of this series is to make our children realize that they are being harmed and abused by close relationships. It was very accurately conveyed by the directors Brahma-Anusaran alliance.

Elango Kumaravelai (Guna), who played good characters, has been used well for the turn of the series. Gopika Ramesh, Frederick Johnson (Miracle), Harish Uthman, who played the moon, have shown excellent acting. Santhanam Bharathi (Gothandraman), the director who continues to appear in some scenes, comes to mind. Apart from her fake face, Parthiban is the father of anger and loss in the new evolution and Shreya Reddy carries the overall story in the slick look of a female police officer. Now Shreya can be expected to make a comeback in Tamil cinema.

Murugeswaran’s cinematography and Sam CS’s music composition are a great complement to the spin-off series, not to mention the screenplay alone. The cinematography is superb in the Amman procession, the Mayan robbery and the street scenes.

Brahma, who made a natural film like ‘Crime Bites’, has been branded as a germ film director who can both direct feature films on his own.

Although it may seem like a slow move at first, then the vortex automatically pulls the audience in and pulls them in completely!

‘Spin – The Vertex’ has been released on the Amazon Prime site.
