Huawei Unveils “ACT” Pathway too Accelerate Enterprise AI Adoption

This framework is designed to guide organizations through a comprehensive smart change, helping them pinpoint high-value AI scenarios, refine models with industry-specific data, and implement scalable AI agents to transform operations. Alongside the pathway, Huawei launched nine new solutions for industrial intelligence, developed in collaboration with its extensive partner network.

“Real knowledge comes from practice,” Chen stated, highlighting two accomplished AI implementations.The first, a defect recognition system deployed at a leading automotive manufacturer, leverages Huawei’s megawatt platform. This system delivers a meaningful increase in per-card throughput compared to traditional solutions and significantly reduced inference latency. Since deployment, MegaWatt has increased defect recognition efficiency by fivefold, improved accuracy to over 90%, and enabled end-to-end automation, from image recognition to report generation.

Transforming Healthcare: AI-Powered Medical Recordkeeping

West China Hospital aimed to streamline its medical recordkeeping process to enhance both clinical outcomes and staff efficiency. The hospital required a solution capable of generating high-quality records quickly and accurately, while adhering to stringent clinical standards.

In partnership with Runda, Huawei developed an AI-powered medical record system based on the Ascend platform. The system integrates open-source models for general tasks with specialized models for clinical language understanding. It automatically recognizes and summarizes doctor-patient conversations, interprets diagnoses, and generates accurate hospital records.

Deployed at West China Hospital, the system operates alongside AI agents for pre-diagnosis and quality control, ensuring both efficiency and accuracy. Doctors can finalize records with a maximum of four edits and submit them to the hospital facts system (HIS) with a single click. The AI-powered system generates medical records in just one second, dramatically improving the speed of diagnosis and treatment.

Chen outlined five key findings gleaned from these and other successful AI implementations:
