Srinagar: 2 migrant workers were killed in a grenade attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian… The Lashkar terrorist identified as Imran Ghani was arrested hours after the attack. Two migrant laborers were killed in a grenade attack in Harmen area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district early today (Tuesday, October 18). He was identified as Imran Ghani, a resident of Harmain Shopian.
Imran Ghani, who threw grenades at the laborers who were staying on rent and were working there, is currently under investigation by the police. Police ADGP Vijay Kumar, during interrogation, admitted that two men, Monish Kumar and Ram Sagar, from Kannaj, Uttar Pradesh, had lobbed the grenade at the workers.

According to the police, Imran Ghani was rounded up while searching for members of the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba. Unlisted terrorists hide themselves and go about their normal lives without leaving any trace.
In the current attack, two laborers, Monish Kumar and Ram Sagar from Uttar Pradesh, were seriously injured when a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist named Imran Ghani hurled grenades. They were taken to hospital for treatment. They succumbed to their injuries there,” the Kashmir Regional Police tweeted.

“Hybrid #Terrorist Harmen of Banned #Terrorist Organization Imran Bashir Gani of #Shopian was arrested by #Shopian Police after throwing grenades. #Investigation and searches are ongoing,” Additional Director of Police, Kashmir Vijay Kumar said in a tweet.
It is to be noted that two days ago, Kashmiri Pandit Pooran Krishan Bhatt was shot dead by terrorists in Shopian’s Chowdhury Kund village.
