As a guest on the “2night Show”, the actress talked about how she accidentally found herself in a senior acting class at Berklee despite having no previous experience. Despite the initial shock, she continued the course and thus began to dabble in acting. She also described the period of uncertainty she experienced in her 20s, but emphasized that returning to Greece brought her joy and balance. Regarding her studies, she said:I took my first acting class when I was 22, that is, very old. Berklee in America, where I went, there is music and theater and dance. I got a degree in both singing and theater. When I went the first semester, there was an error in the system and I accidentally took a class that was for seniors. I mean, I went to a class of Berklee seniors.”
He then said: “We had one girl who went on to Broadway, another girl taught at Berklee the following year. Well, I also went without ever taking an acting class in my life. Somehow they got wind immediately, but the teacher said “it’s ok, sit down”. This was my first professional interaction in acting.”
Calliope Haska then spoke about her uncertainties and concerns. “I lost it somewhere around 20, I was worried and a lot scared. But then, when I came back to Greece, life came and I was happy, I wanted to do everything, I balanced it. Today I don’t miss America at all“, he emphasized.
