New Delhi: I do not bow before them (RSS, BJP); Lalu Prasad Yadav has said that neither my party nor my family will ever surrender.

On Friday, the Enforcement Directorate raided the places of Lalu Prasad’s son, daughters and family members and related persons in connection with land-laundering. In this situation, he has accused the BJP of harassing his daughters, granddaughters and pregnant daughter-in-law with baseless cases for revenge.

In this regard, he posted on his Twitter page in Hindi, “We have seen the dark side of Emergency. Even then, we have struggled. Today, my daughters, granddaughters and pregnant women have been detained for more than 15 hours for baseless vindictive cases. Will BJP stoop to such a low level for a political fight with us?” He said.

In another tweet, he said, “I have an ideological struggle with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the BJP. It will continue. I have never bowed down to them. Neither my family nor the party will bow down to their politics.”

Earlier, on Friday, enforcement officials raided Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav’s house and Lalu’s daughter Misa Bharti’s house in Delhi yesterday. The test was conducted at 24 locations in Delhi, National Capital Region and Bihar.

Meanwhile, Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was the Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009, was accused of giving away or selling their lands to Lalu’s family and close associates to get jobs in the railways. The CBI has filed a charge sheet under the Prevention of Corruption Act against 14 persons including Lalu and Rabri in this related case. All of them have been summoned to appear on the 15th. It is noteworthy that the CBI officials raided Lalu’s wife Rabri Devi’s house in Patna last Monday and interrogated her for 4 hours.
