In his letter of commitment it is stated: “I am Khalil Awawda, hereby declare and undertake that I will not return to terrorist activity or commit crimes that endanger the security of the region. It is clear to me that if I break my commitment, the security forces will be able to take all the legal measures at their disposal”

According to the reports, Awawada’s administrative detention will not be extended and he is expected to be released subject to the fact that no information is found that indicates a danger on his part. He defined it tonight as an “overwhelming victory of the Palestinian people” and thanked his supporters in a video he published.
